EcoChyll X3 — 12L Hi-Speed Rotary Vacuum Evaporator System :Engineered for high-speed solvent evaporation in small- to medium-sized laboratories, the EcoChyll® X3 is a robust, compact evaporator designed for chemical, botanical, and extraction workflows. Utilizing Ecodyst’s pioneering direct cooling technology, the X3 bridges the gap between benchtop rotary evaporators and larger industrial EcoChyll systems. With a true 12L capacity and a small footprint, the X3 holds more solvent than a “20L” rotary evaporator while delivering faster evaporation rates and shorter total run times. The EcoChyll X3 is routinely used downstream of botanical extraction processes such as BHO, CO₂, or ethanol. Equipped with twin metallic condenser coils, the X3 performs continuous direct cooling of incoming vapors in a highly efficient and environmentally friendly manner. Because no glycol or coolant is required, startup times are dramatically reduced, and total energy consumption is less than half that of traditional systems. EcoChyll evaporators also minimize operator intervention. Since the evaporation flask is stirred instead of rotated, residual product can be drained directly through a valve. The X3 can also be configured for complete process automation, saving time and reducing operational costs without compromising results. The core design and operation remain largely the same, even though processing demands have evolved dramatically.
