Teledyne ISCO SyriXus dual-pump continuous-flow systems are designed to deliver a smooth, uninterrupted flow of fluid for demanding laboratory and industrial applications. By coupling two pump modules to a single controller and integrating an active or passive valve manifold, these systems provide true non-stop, continuous fluid delivery for nearly any fluid type.
During operation, the controller intelligently refills one pump while the other is dispensing. Advanced control algorithms continuously balance pressure and flow between the two pumps, enabling virtually pulseless pump switchover while maintaining precise and consistent flow rates. The result is reliable, highly accurate continuous flow without interruptions or pressure fluctuations.

he NE-300 Just Infusion™ Syringe Pump from New Era Pump Systems, Inc. is a reliable, easy-to-use solution for precise fluid infusion in laboratory or production settings. Designed to hold a single syringe from micro-liter sizes up to 60 mL (or 140 mL partially filled), this pump delivers consistent and reproducible flow rates, making it ideal for applications that require simple, continuous infusion without complex programming.
The NE-300 offers infusion rates from 0.73 µL/hr (1 mL syringe) up to 1500 mL/hr (60 mL syringe). Its continuous pumping function allows it to operate until manually stopped, and the infusion rate can be adjusted at any time during operation. A syringe purge mode ensures the syringe is fully primed, while the power failure mode allows the pump to resume operation with previous settings after a power interruption.
The pump features a user-friendly keypad interface where users set the syringe diameter, select pumping rates, and press Start. Infusion units can be displayed in mL/hr, µL/hr, mL/min, or µL/min, with the total volume dispensed shown in either mL or µL for convenience.
With a compact, space-saving chassis measuring only 5 3/4“ x 8 3/4“, the NE-300 fits easily on any laboratory or production bench without occupying unnecessary space. It operates from an included 12VDC power supply and is CE certified, with international power supplies available through New Era’s global distribution network.
The NE-300 is strictly an infusion pump—it does not withdraw fluid, set volume targets, or offer computer interface or programmability. It provides exactly the features you need, with precision, reliability, and simplicity, making it an excellent choice for laboratories or production lines that require straightforward, consistent fluid delivery.
Advanced pumping systems are designed to deliver smooth, continuous, and highly reliable fluid transfer by eliminating the flow rate pauses and drop-offs commonly associated with traditional push–pull pumping methods. This next-generation technology ensures uninterrupted operation by allowing the refilling syringe to fill at a faster rate than the infusing syringe. This approach provides sufficient time for priming or infusion overlap, resulting in a near-seamless transition between syringes. When the infusing pump changes direction or reaches the programmed overlap volume, it automatically triggers the paused pump to begin infusing, maintaining consistent flow.
A key feature of these systems is Chain Pumping Mode, which enables sequential dispensing using multiple pumps. In this mode, up to nine peristaltic and/or syringe programmable pumps can be connected and operated in sequence. As soon as one pump completes its cycle or stops, the next pump automatically starts, ensuring continuous and efficient fluid delivery without manual intervention.
Advanced pumping systems offer flexible configuration to meet diverse application needs. Alternating mode requires two programmable peristaltic or syringe pumps, while Chain Mode supports up to nine pumps. System connectivity is achieved using the CBL-DUAL-3 cable, with an additional CBL-NET-7 cable required for each Chain Mode pump beyond the second. Overall, advanced pumping systems provide precision, scalability, and uninterrupted performance for demanding laboratory and industrial applications.
DUAL-NE-1000X Continuous Pump System
The DUAL-NE-1000X Continuous Pump System is designed to eliminate flow rate pauses and drop-offs commonly experienced with traditional push–pull syringe pump systems. In conventional systems, one syringe infuses while the other refills, and the switch in direction often causes delays due to syringe priming. The DUAL-NE-1000X overcomes this issue by creating a smooth, continuous flow with minimal disruption.
This advanced system works by allowing the refilling syringe to operate at a faster rate than the infusing syringe. This provides sufficient time for priming after refill or enables infusion overlap, resulting in a near-seamless transition between syringes. Users can fine-tune performance by adjusting infusion rate, refill rate, priming rate, prime volume, and overlap volume to achieve optimal smoothness.
The system consists of two programmable NE-1000X single syringe pumps, each capable of holding syringes up to 60 mL, with infusion rates ranging from 0.73 µL/hr to 2100 mL/hr. It supports continuous flow, emulsification, or independent operation, making it a flexible and reliable solution for precision fluid handling applications.
Linear/Gradient Program Function (Syringe Pumps Only)
The Linear/Gradient Program Function for syringe pumps provides precise control over flow rate changes, making it ideal for applications requiring gradual and controlled fluid delivery. This function supports smooth linear increases or decreases in pumping rates, allowing users to define a start rate, an end rate, and the total time for the gradient. By eliminating sudden flow changes, the system ensures stable and repeatable performance in sensitive experiments.
This advanced functionality is compatible with Dual Pump Next Generation Continuous Pumping Mode and Dual Pump Constant Flow Rate Gradient Pumping Mode. A special application includes continuous infusion using a push–pull configuration, where two NE-4000 syringe pumps are connected with a communication cable. In this setup, one pump infuses while the other refills, or both pumps can infuse simultaneously to maintain uninterrupted flow.
Users can pre-program multiple gradient steps and combine them with other NE-1000 series programming features for complex pumping profiles. Dual pump operation requires any combination of two pumps equipped with X firmware upgrades and the CBL-DUAL-3 dual pump communication cable. Syringe pumps, syringes, and plumbing supplies are sold separately.
